We are looking for a
product-minded Senior Backend Engineer in Berlin that helps us build new features for our growing customer base.

Location: Hybrid setup in Berlin
What you'll do
- Work closely with product managers, designers and frontend engineers to concept new features.
- Build the backend and API (REST/GraphQL) for various user-facing features.
- Build and optimize our real-time messaging backend (Kafka) that backs our real-time collaboration.
- Implement best-practices for our infrastructure setup in AWS (S3, Dynamo, RDS, ECS, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda …) with IaC-tooling (Terraform, Serverless)
- Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting for our service so that we can better respond to operational incidents (Sentry, CloudWatch).
- Redefine best-in-class software development processes so that we can build an opinionated product.
Stack: NodeJS, TypeScript, AWS, GraphQL (Apollo), PostgreSQL, Terraform, Kafka. You should be familiar with some of these or similar technologies.
