As a Senior Product Designer* you are responsible for the look and feel of koppla. You will take part in all phases of our product process and take care of leading and driving design projects within our cross-functional setup. Your job is to make scheduling construction projects as easy as using any of your favourite apps (We for one love Linear and Wolt).

*a German level of at least C1 is required

Your mission

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the user experience of our product. Your core task will be designing and delivering high-quality product designs that meet user needs, business goals, and brand standards.
You will work in cross-functional teams with Product Management, Engineering and Research. Our process includes truly cross-functional collaboration, already starting in the early phases of the design process (conceptual design, prototypes).
You will create production-ready designs for web and mobile. Fostering high-quality standards and a customer-centric approach, you will ensure that the same quality is delivered to our customers.
You will collaborate with our researcher, translating insights into actions that improve our user experience. You will drive UX improvements from idea to release.
You will own, manage and improve our existing design system while balancing high quality and a high speed of execution.
You will develop a deep understanding of the construction domain and our customers’ requirements. Along with other product roles, you are a go-to person to learn more about our users’ pains and needs.
You will support building our product strategy and roadmap, always incorporating a customer-focused point of view on our product and where it’s headed.

You are a systems-thinker and can see beyond the pixels.
You are flexible and enjoy working in a dynamic startup environment that is continuously growing and changing.
You are pragmatic as you believe that continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection.
You are proactive and comfortable working autonomously in a hybrid environment.
You love working in cross-functional teams and enjoy sharing work early and often.
You speak German (at least C1) and enjoy speaking English in your working environment.
You bring a start-up/scale-up mindset.

Experience

Extensive experience with end-to-end product design
Knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices
Deep expertise in utilizing Figma to craft conceptual design, prototypes and production ready designs
(Preferred) You have already worked in a SaaS company and/or start-up/scale-up surrounding
